Have Questions? Start here, first.
Why is the date different this year?
Each year, we request the same weekend as the previous year with our many partners that help bring Camaro Fest to you. But these dates are never promised to us. This year, other factors affected the scheduling at Beech Bend Raceway, which meant that we needed to be flexible with our event dates. We put the word out as soon as we were sure of these changes.
Where do I go to buy Tickets?
After January 1st; Go to the "Buy Tickets" button at the bottom of this, or any of the event pages on this site. Alternatively, you can select "Store" on the top menu. If you do not want to purchase a wristband online, they will be available at the gates. We strongly encourage you to pre-pay for your wristbands, so you can skip the long line at the Beech Bend gates Friday AM.
Will any purchases be Shipped to me like T-Shirts?
No... Everything sold is for event attendees so there is no reason to ship. Thursday night at the Meet and Greet is the best time to pick up your T-Shirts and Wristbands. Otherwise, you may also pick them up at the Beech Bend raceway entrance. There will be a list of pre-paid names at the gate for entry and Shirts will be inside at the Camaro Fest Tent near the car show area.
Do all of the passengers in my car need a wristband?
Yes. Any person entering Beech Bend Raceway Park must be wearing a wristband. Ages 12 and under are free.
What do I need to be an observer at the car show?
The regular spectator wristband gets you in as an observer for everything including afterhours parties. Nothing extra is needed for the car show unless you want to enter your car to be judged.
What is the difference between a ticket and a wristband?
At Camaro Fest, the phrase "tickets" and "wristbands" are used interchangeably. You physically receive a wristband for the weekend, so we like to stick with that term. But most people who haven't been to a Camaro Fest before might not understand that... so the buttons all over the site say "Tickets".
I bought my wristband(s), now what?
First of all, thank you - we can't wait to see everyone at the event!! Tickets are not mailed out. We strongly encourage everyone to pick up wristbands at the Meet & Greet on Thursday night at the Sloan Convention Center (attached to the host hotel: The Holiday Inn) to skip the long gate line Friday AM at Beech Bend Raceway Park. If you can't make it on Thursday, we will issue your wristbands at the Beech Bend racetrack entrance.
Can I participate in both the Drag Races AND the CamaroCross?
Of course! The "RACER" wristband will allow you to compete in both of the motorsport's events at Beech Bend on Friday. Do as much as you can fit in.
Do I need a Helmet?
Yes, for both Drag strip and AutoX you need a Snell 2015 Rated or newer helmet. Drag strip does not require helmet if slower than 14 seconds.
Can spectators come to the NCM Motorsports Park?
Yes and it's FREE! Bring family and friends to watch from a pretty cool vantage point up on top of the garages. Spectators are free to enter the NCM Motorsports Park so if you arrive during the day on Thursday this is a great start to Camaro Fest.
Can anyone or any model car drag race.
Yes! All you need is a racer wristband no matter what kind of car you drive. However, competition and awards are reserved for Camaros and Firebirds.
Where are the Host Hotels?
You will definitely want to stay at one of the Host Hotels next to Sloan Convention Center where all the action is. Use the "Host Hotels" link on the site menu above to find booking info.
Is anything going on Wednesday before the event?
We have not organized anything officially on Wednesday. However, the whole point of Camaro Fest is to socialize with your Camaro friends and there is a big meet up at Roosters on Wed! Join our Facebook Group to coordinate with others planning to attend early, do dinner, and check out the Camaro Fest forum section on www.Camaro6.com to find information and see past event pictures.
How many laps can I get on the CamaroCross?
Typically, each competitor is able to have 8-10 passes on the course, depending on the size of the group and any cone knockdowns. This was enough time to wear some of our friends out! Of course, our estimates are dependent on the safety and vehicle control of our participants!!
What is the Schedule of Events?
